To Make Him Known – Outreach Phase

The focus of DTS is to grow in our passion for Jesus and the lost. In this training you will go beyond book learning and get real “hands-on experience.” This second phase of DTS gives you the opportunity to take the concepts you learned in lecture phase and put them into practice through:

* Inner-city evangelism, urban outreaches
* Ministries in prisons
* Working with unreached people groups, church planting
* Working in coffee shops, university student outreaches
* Creative art and performance programs, dramas, etc
* Mercy ministries (humanitarian care)
* Preaching and sharing the Gospel, door to door evangelism, etc
* Prayer and intercession
* Working with youth and children, (via puppets, clowns, etc)
* Working in orphanages or with the elderly
* Working cross-culturally with churches
* Service projects, building projects
* Teaching English

You will impact nations in ways you never thought possible. The length of outreach can vary from 8-12 weeks. You might trek through the jungles of the Amazon, reach out to street children in India, church plant in remote parts of Africa, or teach English in Southeast Asia. A DTS is an adventure with God that is waiting for you.

Since each YWAM facility plans their lecture phase and outreach portion of the DTS according to their specific ministry focus, their schedules and activities may not be the same as described above.
