University of the Nations

Imagine an international university with an eternal goal. Dream up a world-class school with first-rate teachers and a challenging curriculum. Picture an institution that has no mascot, has never played in a bowl game or NCAA tournament, and which strives to send graduates directly into jobs with no salary. Envision a single university, which unites campuses all over the planet under a common mission. That mission? Serving Jesus Christ and telling of His salvation while discipling nations in Biblical truths.

The University of the Nations (U of N) is YWAM’s global university. It serves as a multiplier for missions, accelerating the pace at which we are fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission. The U of the N is one university, but with over 250 branches in 110 nations. Each campus is committed to instructing men and women in the ways of God, while equipping them with the professional skills necessary to serve in a wide variety of disciplines and to reach the world for Christ. U of N courses offer college credits transferable to a number of colleges and universities worldwide.

After the initial prerequisite Discipleship Training School course, the U of N offers subsequent courses in the Colleges/Faculties of Christian Ministries; Communication; Counseling and Health Care; Education; Humanities and International Studies; Arts; and Science and Technology. The U of N vision is to send missionaries from every nation into geographic and vocational fields – from towering glass office buildings in world-class cities to remote grass huts in steaming jungles.
